About Brøndby
Brøndby is a suburb about 13 km from Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark. Brøndby has 35,500 citizens in 21 km2 surrounded by wonderful nature such as the Western Rampart Vestvolden, Køge Bugt Strandpark at the seaside, and the beautiful wood Brøndbyskoven.
The Social Democratic Party is in the majority in the municipal counsil and Kent Max Magelund has been mayor since 1 March 2016. The municipal council has 19 members – see the composition of the municipal council here: Kommunalbestyrelsen.

There are elections for the European Parliament in Denmark on Sunday 9 June 2024. Voters in Denmark are to elect 15 members. EU citizens in Denmark can be a part of that.
